Through a collaboration with NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), our goal is to promote awareness, unity and social change within Queens County.
The Queens Consortium is part of the NYC Federation of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Alcoholism Services.
Connect with Providers
QCASA meetings are a great opportunity for providers to network and attend valuable presentations on topics such as cutting edge treatment approaches, changes to billing and insurance regulations, and what services are available from fellow providers. Get support and get involved!
Membership in QCASA gives current and former consumers and clients information about how treatment services are provided and how local and statewide policies are developed. Attending these monthly meetings is a way of doing service within the treatment community and can be a valuable part of your recovery. Let your voice be heard!
Our newest members of QCASA have started their own subcommittee,Youth Empowerment Speaks (YES) showing that young people can stay away from alcohol and drug use and still have a good time. Young people in recovery are also welcome to attend YES meetings and share your experiences with the group.
We hope that as you browse through this website, you’ll find it informative and helpful. We’ve provided information that we hope will be useful for you and hope that you find what you are seeking. We have included links to many other sites that will give you additional information about the addiction field and the services that are available. If you need additional information please feel free to contact us or join us at our monthly meeting.
Warm Regards, Beth Covelli (Chairperson, QCASA )
